Walking around Todmorden during lockdown V1, I came across Reg. He was sitting in the sunshine reading a newspaper. His daughter had not seen him for quite some time and he asked if I would email the photo so his daughter could he his "lockdown beard".

Thursday clapping became a ritual for many. Spare a thought for the retained services. These guys gave up their own time to leave home, get to the fire station, into uniform, drive to a care home (or similar), turn on the "blues & two's" for 5 minutes, clap and then go home. Understandably, some were a bit hacked off after a while. It became a pointless weekly exercise.
